A piece of NZ History, the former
Fortrose teacher's house, built in 1938, sits now in our large
sheltered farm garden, in total serenity.
Sleeps 2-6...Two bedrooms, spare beds, this house is full of
local history, good books, lots of paintings, period ceilings
and native wood floors
Full kitchen and laundry, Yunca
Woodburner AND Heat Pump. Comfy beds, electric blankets. TV, radio and CD
player. Games, bike, trampoline, big lawn and patio.
Private access across the farm to the Southern Ocean with its
Jurassic coast, birdlife, views of Stewart Island, a great place
to build a summer bonfire on the sand and watch the sun go down.
Almost at southernmost point of South Island. Location handy for
Catlins and for Invercargill / Bluff.
